Marijuana (THC) is illegal
Marijuana (THC) is illegal at the federal level. Just because the DOJ has been de-criminalizing its use at the states level, doesn’t make it legal. According to the Controlled Substances Act of 1970 (CSA) Marijuana THC is considered to be a Schedule I (non-therapeutic and addictive) substance.
Our states truly have no right or duty to legalize marijuana-THC as. “medicine” or for recreational / commercialized purposes. All but four states remain in the U.S. that haven’t yet legalized or de-criminalized THC (NC, SC, KS and ID).
